By accessing or using MethodBase ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MethodBase is an AI-powered platform that provides strategic analysis skills including Jobs-to-be-Done analysis, Real-Win-Worth evaluation, GTM strategy, pricing optimization, and other business strategy frameworks.
3. Account Registration
To use MethodBase, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Subscription and Payment
4.1 Pricing
Current pricing is available at methodbase.ai/pricing. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
4.2 Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Payments are processed through Stripe. Failed payments may result in service suspension.
4.3 Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. Contact support@method-base.com for refund requests.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer the AI models or algorithms
- Share account credentials with unauthorized users
- Use automated systems to access the Service beyond normal use
- Submit content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
- Input confidential information belonging to third parties without proper authorization
- Input personal data of other individuals without their consent
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our IP
MethodBase, including its software, design, and methodology frameworks, is our intellectual property protected by copyright and trademark laws.
6.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content to provide the Service.
6.3 Output Ownership
Analysis outputs generated by the Service belong to you. You may use them for any lawful business purpose.
7. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses AI to generate strategic analysis. While we strive for accuracy, AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should review all outputs and use professional judgment before making business decisions.
You are solely responsible for:
- Reviewing and verifying all AI-generated outputs before use
- Ensuring outputs do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights
- Any business decisions made based on AI outputs
MethodBase is not liable for any damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content, including but not limited to inaccurate data, flawed recommendations, or content that may inadvertently resemble third-party materials.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, METHODBASE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSES.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MethodBase from any claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription with 30 days notice. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in Austin, TX. Each party shall bear its own costs, with arbitrator fees split equally. Either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
